Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to personal data on this website, under Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR.
The short version
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds nothing from anyone else and loads its own fonts from its own server. Nothing you do here is tracked or profiled.
The only personal data we receive is what you type into the enquiry form and send.
Controller
The controller for this website is the provider named in the imprint, at the address and e-mail given there.
Server log files
Our hosting provider records the usual technical data with each request: the page requested, the time, the referring page, the browser and operating system, and the IP address. This is necessary to deliver the site and to keep it secure, on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in a working, uncompromised website.
These logs are not combined with any other data and are deleted on the provider's ordinary retention schedule.
The enquiry form
What you send is what we hold: the category of enquiry, your name, your shop or company, your e-mail address, your telephone number if you give one, your country and your message.
For a trade enquiry the basis is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. For any other enquiry it is Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR, the consent you give with the checkbox, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
We use it to answer you, and for nothing else. It is never sold, never passed to an advertiser, and never used to send you marketing you did not ask for.
How long we keep it
An enquiry that does not lead to an account is deleted when the matter is closed and no later than six months after the last message, unless we are required to keep it longer under commercial or tax law.
Correspondence with an open trade account is kept for as long as the account exists and then for the statutory retention periods.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider processes the data on our behalf under Article 28 GDPR, and our e-mail provider carries the message. Nobody else receives it. No data is transferred outside the EU or EEA except where the imprint's own establishment makes that unavoidable, in which case it happens under the standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Write to the address in the imprint and we will answer within one month.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Germany that is the data protection authority of the federal state where you live.
Changes
If the site ever starts doing something this notice does not describe, the notice changes first. The date at the foot of the page is the date of the version you are reading.
